Orlando’s first spirit-free speakeasy, The BANDBOX to close on September 14

The BANDBOX is a 1920's Art Deco-inspired speakeasy where you could skip the alchohol and enjoy a robust menu of non-alcoholic craft cocktails.

Described as "Orlando’s first spirit-free speakeasy tasting lounge and bottle shop," The Bandbox has announced that it will close its location at at 1817 N. Orange Avenue in Ivanhoe Village after only two-and-a-half years of business

The zero-proof speakeasy opened back in spring 2022 and has been offering a menu of non-alcoholic cocktails ever since. Curated by in-house and local mixologists, options have included a robust menu of non-alcoholic craft cocktails, beer & wine along with elixirs, tonics, shrubs and CBD beverages

The Bandbox made the closure announcement via their website and social media pages, announcing that they are closing the bricks and mortar location in favor of a new mobile zero-proof bar, and photo booth experience that will be available for rentals and pop-ups at some of the most popular spots in and around Orlando starting in early 2025.

Owner Kevin Zepf commented, "It’s been an amazing run and we couldn’t be more thankful to the Orlando community forsupporting us since we opened."

The business cited rising costs had made it impossible to to keep the doors open, with The Bandbox closing forever on Saturday, September 14.

For now, you can book a reservation to visit before their final night on 9/14. All reservations can be booked on the website .
