The Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) has announced its next Access for All event in partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation, offering free admission to the museum from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. With a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, OMA aims to break down barriers and invite all members of the community to experience the transformative power of art.

“We hold our Access for All events on a regular monthly schedule to demonstrate our commitment to making art accessible to everyone, regardless of status or background,” said Cathryn Mattson, CEO of the Orlando Museum of Art. "Our mission is to create a space where the arts can be universally enjoyed and experienced. We are grateful to have a partner in the Art Bridges Foundation to provide the opportunity for all individuals and families to engage with our exhibitions and programs."

During their visit, guests can enjoy the artwork from OMA’s signature exhibition, the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art, where the installations of 10 talented local artists will be on display through August 25. There will also be special STEM programming provided by the Orlando Science Center, where they will be bringing Primary and Secondary Family Science Nights to the OMA on Thursday, June 20 at 4 p.m. The Primary science night activity will be Earth and space-themed while the Secondary activity will be sci-fi themed. The museum will also be hosting La CinOMAthéque: a collaboration between OMA and the Enzian to provide a free screening of La Jetée by Chris Marker with an introduction by Jimmy Schaus, Student Health Services Medical Director at the University of Central Florida.

"Art has the power to transform our perspectives and bring us together in new ways,” said Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, Chief Curator of the Orlando Museum of Art. “By offering free admission and exciting programming, we hope to ignite the community’s love for the arts and foster meaningful connections with our exhibitions."
