Building on the success of a very strong Spring Break and Easter travel period, passenger levels continued to grow at Orlando International Airport, with over five million travellers for the month of April.
For the second month in a row at Orlando International Airport, passenger numbers has topped five million passengers.
Orlando International Airport has revealed that in April, the airport has saw more than 5 million travelers transit through the airport.
The impressive passenger numbers show that as of April, MCO has welcomed over 19.2 million passengers for this year already, which is a 20 percent increase over 2022.
On a rolling 12-month basis, Orlando International has already exceeded the total number of international passengers for all of last year.
Part of that growth can be attributed to several airlines increasing seat capacity and number of flights into MCO, as airlines react to the growing demand for travel to Orlando from across the world.
For the month of April, international travel increased 30.3 percent over 2022 with 589,561 total arrivals and departures.
Domestic travel climbed 14.76 percent with 4,424,964 total passengers in April.
Combined, there was a total of 5,014,525 travelers at MCO, which is an increase of 16.39 percent for the month.
