Orange County is hosting various events throughout the month to promote environmental awareness and conservation.

In observance of Earth Day on April 22, Orange County is dedicating the entire month of April to honor and celebrate the planet. The County will host a variety of events and activities focused on conserving natural resources and building a more resilient community.

Earth Month 2025 will spotlight countywide conservation and environmental stewardship efforts while offering residents and employees engaging and educational experiences. The celebration encourages individuals to expand their knowledge and adopt more environmentally friendly practices.

Planned activities include an eco-scavenger hunt, Florida-Friendly Landscaping tips, and water conservation workshops. Attendees can also explore beginner beekeeping, oyster mushroom cultivation, and spring vegetable gardening with guidance from the University of Florida Orange County Extension Office.

Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, Earth Month is a time for everyone to come together and engage in hands-on experiences that promote environmental stewardship.

Activities will take place across the county, with partnerships between various Orange County departments and divisions.
