Onyx have announced that they’ll be hitting the road this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their legendary debut album, Bacdafucup.
Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr better known as Hip Hop duo ONYX are hitting the road withunderground rap heavyweight R.A. The Rugged Man and DJ Lala.
The 46 date anniversary tour kicks off on March 29 at Echoplex in Los Angeles and includes stops in Tampa and Orlando, before concluding the tour on May 20 in Sacramento.
The tour stops off in Tampa on Thursday April 13 at The Brass Mug on Skipper Rd.
The tour arrives in Orlando the next night on Friday, April 14 2023 at Level 13 Events Center on Edgewater Dr, with tickets also starting at.$25.00.
Onyx’s upcoming tour will likely be the last for co-founder Fredro Starr who recently announced that he would be hanging up his mic and retiring from rap after this year.
Appearing on an episode of The Dr. Greenthumb Show earlier this month, the Onyx co-founde explaining that the time has come for him to exit the game.
“You supposed to say: ‘I’m gonna retire.’ You gotta make the comeback. Michael Jordan did it. Guess what? I’m retiring too this year. After this year, I’m done. All jokes in side pocket” Fredro said.
He added: “I’m retiring man. Thirty years of Hip Hop. This is the last year. I’m retiring. Don’t call me for no verses, nothing. I might do a show here and there.”
