OMA hosts a regular scheduled program of popular community events, together with an innovation selection of exhibits.
Orlando Museum of Art features a wide selection of exhibitions and monthly events, providing visitors with opportunities to engage with art in a variety of ways. All are welcome to attend and experience the beauty and wonder of art in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The mission of the Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) is to stimulate creativity and intellectual curiosity by connecting people from all backgrounds and experiences with compelling art and new ideas.
Annually, the museum presents about a dozen exhibitions consisting of special and visiting exhibitions, as well as ones curated from the museum’s collections.
Each exhibition inspires and is enriched by programs as varied as gallery tours, art appreciation lectures, studio classes for youth and adults, bespoke community access programs designed for special populations, and community events like family days and cultural celebrations. OMA welcomes more than 130,000 visitors annually, and the museum’s education programs serve 16,000 annually.
Regular events include Family Day featuring hands-on art and gallery activities, storytelling, and music, Creative Connections, a program for visitors of all ages with developmental and learning disabilities, and Arts The Spark, a program for those living with memory or cognitive impairments and their healthy caregivers.
Monthly highlights include Access for All at OMA, a program offering FREE admission to the museum! Access for All at OMA is a monthly free day dedicated to the community. Each event features live performances, educational experiences, and more!

Torn Apart at Orlando Museum Of Art brings together for the first time Andrew Krivinen"s extensive collection of punk graphics and ephemera, Malcolm Garrett, MBE's collection of Vivienne Westwood garments and Sheila Rock's photography. J. Grant Brittain is one of the most widely recognized and influential skateboard photographers on the planet. This exhibit at Orlando Museum Of Art is the acclaimed photographer's very first museum exhibition retrospective and a chance to see this collection of works from the 1980's which has inspired so many generations.

Step into a world of childhood nostalgia at Orlando Museum of Art with Golden Legacy: Original Art from 80 Years of Golden Books. This exhibition showcases over sixty original illustrations from the Random House archives, featuring timeless classics like The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens, I Can Fly, and so many more!
