Nu Metal greats Mudvayne have announced today, Tuesday, March 21 that they are heading out on the open road on their first headlining tour in more than 14 years.
The 26 date tour dubbed The Psychotherapy Sessions will include support from Coal Chamber, Gwar, Nonpoint & Butcher Babies.
The tour will start here in Florida, with an opening night in West Palm Beach, on July 20 with the tour hitting Tampa's MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre the following night, July 21.
Presale begins tomorrow, Wednesday March 22 at 10 am, Code: OPENER.
General tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am.
While this is the band’s first new headlining tour in years, it’s not the first time they’ve hit the stage in as long. Last year, Mudvayne returned to the stage in support of Rob Zombie during the Freaks on Parade tour.
“An Event,” teases drummer Matt McDonough. “On the Horizon. Over 25 years in the making. Brave travellers… You, and the alien seed – MuDvAyNe. A journey begun. Reaching Zenith. Now for the Eschatology.”
