Carnival is a massive, colorful street fest that honors the vast heritage and culture of the Caribbean islands.

This year, Bahama Breeze Island Grille - known for Caribbean inspired food, cocktails, and the vibe of a tropical escape - is bringing the beloved celebration to its restaurants nationwide, including here in Orlando at 8849 International Drive, 8735 Vineland Ave, 5620 W. Oak Ridge Rd, 1200 N Alafaya Trail, and more.

People don’t always get to travel to the islands to join in on the festivities, so Bahama Breeze is bringing Carnival to guests with a dynamic in-restaurant celebration reminiscent of the island street festivals, from Sep. 9 to Oct. 13.

The in-restaurant event will fuse the traditions of the Caribbean islands through a new Jerk Mahi Mahi dish, and three limited-time cocktails - the King Carnival (in a take-home glass), Bermuda Rum Punch and Trinidad Sour.

Plus, if you can't decide which cocktail to choose, you can try all three in a flight!

Live music and DJs curating a playlist of Soca and Dancehall style tunes will be at all locations every Friday night, with live usic every weekend.

In Orlando, Bahama Breeze has partnered with Fete Massterz, a local Carnival troupe, to create costumes inspired by the Carnival drinks.

King Carnival

It's a party starting staple at Bahama Breeze. And during Carnival, it'll come in a Take-Home Sugarcane Glass, but hurry you gotta get it before they're gone!

Barbados Rum Punch

Over in Barbados, they celebrate the end of each sugar season with Crop Over Fest. In honor of that, we're mixing up our own take on the island's famous punch, with Barbados Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, passion fruit, orange, cranberry and lime juices.

Trinidad Sour

Made in honor of the OG hosts of Caribbean Carnival: Trinidad and Tobago. It's got Angostura 7 Year Rum and Angostura bitters, which, fun fact: both came from Trinidad. It's all mixed with a splash of vanilla, blackberry, pineapple and lemon juices.

Jerk Mahi Mahi

This dish checks all the boxes for something light with huge flavor. It's sautéed and topped with a fresh tomato salad, lime vinaigrette and served with yellow rice. And believe us when we say: the lime squeeze is EVERYTHING!
