Halloween Horror Nights is nothing more than a distant memory now that we're into November at Universal Orlando Resort, but we have so much to look forward to in the coming weeks.
From November 12, 2022 through until January 1, 2023 you can scream, laugh and shout your jingle bells off to the awesome holiday celebrations at Universal Orlando Resort.
There is so much extra entertainment that you will hardly notice the closures and refurbishments!
Thankfully there is not too much happening in the way of closures right now, but still a few significant refurbishments in Universal Orlando's theme parks, so read on for this months closures and refurbishments.
As always dates and information are subject to change, but rest assured we will keep you updated.
Universal Orlando Resort November Closures
Universal's Islands Of Adventure
Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls
It has been confirmed by Universal Orlando Resort that Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls is currently closed due to damage the attraction suffered from Hurricane Ian.
There had previously been no mention of scheduled maintenance or refurbishment prior to the closure of the theme parks due to Hurricane Ian.
There is currently no date for when Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls will reopen, but it's believed that the the ride is going to be down for a multi month period.
The rumours are that the ride has been suffering issues previous to the enforced closure, and Universal are now going to cary out a lengthy refurbishment of the ride.
We really don't expect to see Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls open anytime soon.
Marvel Super Hero Island
Extensive areas of Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal's Islands of Adventure are now behind construction walls, and are closed for refurbishment.
Universal have not indicated how long this refurbishment will be, or to what extent the refurbishment will be, although repainting is now visible behind the construction walls.
Could we be seeing the rumours that Marvel Super Hero Island is to be re-themed coming true? Probably not, as right now Universal are pretty much busy building Epic Universe!
Dark Arts At Hogwarts Castle
Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle had its last show of the season on October 31 and sadly won't be returning to Universal's Islands of Adventure until September 15, 2023.
Located in Hogsmeade in Universal's Islands of Adventure, Dark Arts at Hogswarts Castle combines lights and music in an exciting spectacle where images of Death Eaters and Dementors alongside Lord Voldemort cloak the stone walls of Hogwarts Castle as darkness falls.
Universal Studios Florida
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida will close for refurbishment from Sunday, November 13 - Thursday, November 17.
We were expecting some down time for this attraction after the previously scheduled closure in August was canceled.
Revenge Of The Mummy
Revenge Of The Mummy at Universal Studios Florida is not actually closed, but then it's not actually technically open either!
After undergoing a lengthy refurbishment for several months the ride is now in a technical rehearsal period with hours of operation subject to change without notice.
Woody Woodpecker's KidZone
While still very much open, a reminder that the majority of Woody Woodpecker's KidZone will close on January 15, 2023.
So if you or kids want to experience KidZone for one last time now is your last chance!
The attractions that will close are Fievel’s Playland, Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Curious George Goes to Town, DreamWorks Destination, and Shrek & Donkey’s Meet & Greet location.
If you want to know what's coming to the area, you should check out our rumour article on KidsZone.
