And another one bites the dust, yet another longtime Orlando favorite is closing its doors.

Popular old-school spot, Nick’s Family Diner has been serving breakfast, sandwiches and classic diner fare at 5439 N Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando for over 15 year, but sadly not for much longer.

The diner's owners Angela and Nik have announced on social media that they are closing the doors forever, with customers able to snag an all day breakfast for one last time on Sunday, January 19.

You can visit the diner before it closes Tuesday - Saturday from 8 am - 2.30 pm.

Here is the announcement in full:

Dear Friends,

After 15 incredible years, it’s with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Nick’s Family Diner. Our final day of service will be Sunday, the 19th of January. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all thanks to YOU—our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and supportive community.

From early morning breakfasts to packed house lunches, we’ve shared so many laughs, stories, and unforgettable moments together. You’ve not only filled our booths but also our hearts with your kindness and encouragement.

To our team, past and present: your hard work and passion brought this diner to life every single day. We couldn’t have done this without you.

To our customers: Thank you for making us part of your lives. Your support has meant the world to us, and we will always cherish the connections we’ve built.

As this chapter closes, Nik and I leave with immense gratitude for the memories we’ve created together. Though we’ll no longer serve meals here, the friendships and community we’ve fostered will last forever.

Thank you for 15 wonderful years. This isn’t goodbye, just “see you later.”

With love and appreciation,

Angela and Nik
