A new "multi-function LGBTQ+ space", is set to open in the former home of Stonewall Bar Orlando at 741 W Church St in the Parramore Neighborhood.
The building which has been sitting vacant for almost three years since Stonewall closed suddenly on New Year’s Eve, 2021, has finally found a new lease of life with new owners
According to Business Debut, the new co-owners of the former nightclub, Kevin Varanai, Andrea Dunn and Brandon Wood are transforming the space into a restaurant, lounge and coffee concept called Heatwave.
Set to open before the end of 2024, the LGBT+ friendly Heatwave will feature three distinct sections within the property, including an upstairs full-service restaurant offering tapas and shareable dishes, together with cocktails, beer, and wine.
Downstairs will be home to a coffee shop, which will transform into a late-night spot by night.
