Magic mirror on the wall...a new Disney Villains show is set to enthrall guests when it debuts at Disney's Hollywood Studios in summer 2025.
Walt Disney World made a surprise announcement today, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, announcing that a brand new stage show is coming to the resort based on the Disney Villains!
While earlier this summer at D23 it was anounced that a new land based on the Disney Villains was coming to Magic Kingdom, this new stage show is coming to deep within the shadows of Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios....
This all-new live production starring your favorite Disney Villains will debut summer 2025!
The creative minds at Disney Live Entertainment will transform Sunset Showcase into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.
To make way for the new stage show, the Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Hollywood Studios is being axed.
Before these villainous fiends take the spotlight at Sunset Showcase, guests should speed on over for another lap around the track at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy before October 7 when it will close to make way for the new stage show.
