An exciting new restaurant is opening in Lake Nona on September 27, and is set to add new flavors to the already wonderful selection of culinary experiences in the area.
From Tavistock Restaurant Collection (TRC) comes Nami, an exciting new Japanese-inspired concept, set to open in Lake Nona on Wednesday, September 27.
Nami will highlight the collective talent from some of the top chefs in the country and beyond, offering an exciting new and distinctive food and beverage experience.
Nami is discreetly tucked away at Lake Nona Wave Hotel at 6004 Artist Ave, Orlando, FL 32827. The restaurant is adjacent to the beautiful Lake Nona Sculpture Garden, a distinguished selection of sculptures from one of the world’s largest private art collections.
Nami's energetic dining room captures the imagination with traditional Japanese ingredients that have been given a contemporary uptick, creating thoughtfully prepared menus that juxtapose precise technique with playful nuances to offer Nami’s interpretive take on Japanese ingredients and flavors.
The intimate and exclusive 10-seat omakase counter will offer a different experience, capturing the imagination with traditional Japanese ingredients that have been given a contemporary uptick and a signature embrace of European elements. Each dish is intended to feel simple, sharp and precise.
Your omakase journey is quite personal. The modern multi-course offerings range from nigiri to small plates and are specially crafted for the evening. For this experience, advance booking is required and can be enhanced with expertly selected wine and beverage pairings.
The energetic cocktail bar offers elevated mixology in its precise and beautiful cocktails. As the night evolves the cocktail bar and dining room become one to create a retreat with in-house DJ led vibes and special late night menu offerings.
A collective concept created by an exceptional lineup of culinary talent, the team at Nami includes Culinary Director Freddy Money, who also oversees Atlas and The Garden Room in the St. Regis Atlanta; Senior Culinary Director Eli Kaimeh, formerly of Thomas Keller's Per Se restaurant; Corporate Pastry Chef Stuart Whitfield, formerly of The Glass Knife Orlando; and Vice President of Food and Beverage Michael Ferraro.
The team also includes Corporate Beverage Director Jacob Johnson, formerly of The Little Nell in Aspen. Daily operations are led by Chef de Cuisine Jason Beliveau and General Manager Christopher Bugeya.
