Mid Drive Dive has closed its doors after less than a year in business, offering no reason for the abrupt closure.
Mid Drive Dive located in College Park at 2401 Edgewater Drive, Orlando has closed after only several months in business.
Taking over the former home of Graffiti Junktion, the bar and restaurant only opened in February, a joint project between Jacob Zepf of Freehand Goods and Matt Hinckley of Hinckley’s Fancy Meats at East End Market.
Mid Drive Dive featured a central bar with lots of seating indoors and out, with the restaurant offering a varied menu of American classics for lunch, and dinner, together with a weekend brunch.
The bar offered a large variety of crafted cocktails, beers and wines.
Mid Town Dive announced the closure on its social media accounts. Sharing that the restaurant would be closing during the holidays and that a new unnamed operator would be taking over the space, bringing a new concept to the area.
Since then no further details have been offered, and Mid Town Dive's website and soocial media accounts have been deleted.
