Located at 2 West Fort King Street, the restaurant is owned and operated by local restaurant entity Harddy, LLC and marks the brand’s 22nd location in Florida.
Nestled in historic downtown Ocala, the 4,793-square-foot restaurant will offer a familiar selection of the brand’s stone-baked specialty pizzas and Mellow vibes along with vibrant shareable munchies, greens, hoagies, smash-style burgers and sweet treats.
Located on the site of the area’s century-old Cloeman building which has since been rebuilt as The Goldman Peek building, the Ocala location will showcase its own unique style and decor – including an interior mural by Miami-based artist Ruben Ubiera and an exterior neon sign – while dually displaying one-of-a-kind architectural highlights that pay homage to the roots of its historic walls.
Complete with a 128-seat main dining room and a full bar featuring 24 beer taps that will pour local breweries like Infinite Ale Works, Cigar City Brewing and Swamp Head Brewery, the space will also debut a 28-seat outdoor patio offering the ideal ambiance for dining and imbibing al fresco.

This project has been extremely personal for me – I’m proud to be aligned with a brand like Mellow Mushroom that shares a familiar commitment to giving back, and am eager to soon offer craveable foods and distinctive cocktails to this community that means so much to me.”
Touted for its cult-like following and counterculture essence, Mellow Mushroom blends the boundaries between art, music, high quality ingredients and passionate standards for dining. Each individual restaurant is uniquely reflective of its local community while holding true to Mellow Mushroom’s core values and brand.
Widely known as the originator of hand-tossed, stone-baked, one-of-a-kind pizza, the main menu – anchored by its coveted “secret dough” recipe – boasts cult-favorite pizzas like the Holy Shiitake Pie with olive oil and garlic base, shiitake, button and portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and Wisconsin aged white cheddar, finished with a garlic aioli swirl and a spritz of black truffle oil, garnished with fresh chives and shaved parmesan. Highly customizable Build-Your-Own pizzas are also available, creating the perfect canvas for a kaleidoscope of ingredients with options for meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and other dietary-conscious diners, alongside a revolving door of munchies, greens, burgers and sweets.
Behind the Mellow bar, a selection of made-from-scratch mixers and electric spirits come to life in the form of Liquid Karma Cocktails with standouts including The Campfire Peach with Casamigos Blanco & Mezcal Tequilas, peach, jalapeno & house-made agave sour; the Sunset in Paradise with Bacardi superior rum, coconut, pineapple, pomegranate & fresh sour; and the Lemon Submarine with Woodford Reserve bourbon, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, house-made sour, iced tea, rosemary & 18.21 Earl Grey Bitters.
