The vegan, and plant friendly collective, Market on South in the Milk District ihas new management once more.
Just under a year ago, plant based co-op Main Street Market closed their Winter Garden location in favor of a move to Market on South at 2603 E. South Street in the Milk District.
Market on South had been empty since Dharma Southern Kitchen and Valhalla Bakery vacated the building in search of pastures new at the near 100 year old Fort Pitt building at 5565 Old Cheney Highway,
At the time, Market on South brought in Vegan Scoops, Retro Roast, and The Kind Cleaver. Fast forward to now and big changes are happening again.
The lease for Market On South with Market On South was only for one year, and with things up in the, The Kind Cleaver announced in June that it was leaving Market On South, choosing to look for a new location. (No announcement yet.)
As for Market on South, Vegan Scoops, Retro Roast, and A Lo Vegano, are stepping in and taking over the management of Market On South.
The property has undergone a refurbishment and is now open for business seven-days per week, with lots of upcoming events planned, including the Vegan GLOW Party on Friday, July 26.
The new management are also looking for more vegan, and plant-based food vendors to come and be part of Market On South.
