With Hurricane Milton now passed, the buses are ready to roll again on the streets of Orlando.
As Hurricane Milton menaced toward Central Florida, Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) suspended service ahead of the storms arrival in Orlando.
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the last bus trips departartingaround 3 p.m. with no service until further notice.
Once the storm had passed, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authorities transportation team rolled out to assess the damage so that they can resume service as quickly and safely as possible.
This has now been completed and LYNX will now run a modified weekday schedule starting at 1:30pm today, Thursday, October 10.
Links 155, 301, 302, 303, 304, 306 and 701 will not operate today. Link 701 will resume Tuesday when Orange County Public School students return. NeighborLink service will resume on Friday.
Normal service is expected to resume on Friday.
ACCESS LYNX will provide life sustaining trips only today and Friday. Normal scheduling will resume on Saturday. Customers are encouraged to call 407-423-8747 and book their trip.
