LYNX announces schedule and route changes set to begin on April 20 including New Stop at Epic Universe

Check out the changes coming to LYNX on April 20, and don't miss the bus!
The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority Board (LYNX) has approved a series of service changes, with system-wide schedule and route changes set to begin on April 20.
An interesting addition is to the popular Link 311, which connects Disney Springs Transfer Center and Orlando International Airport with stops at Destination Parkway SuperStop, I-Drive (Orange County Convention Center), Universal Boulevard, Florida Mall SuperStop and Sand Lake Rd. SunRail Station.
From April 20, the route will also include service to the new Universal Epic Universe theme park which officially opens on May 22.

April Service Changes
The April changes will include the following:
Schedule adjustments on Links 3, 28, 29, 38, 701 and NeighborLink 831.
Schedule improvements and adjustments on Link 705.
Schedule reductions on Links 8 and 15.
Route change on Link 311.
Bus bay changes at Disney Springs Transfer Center.

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS
Link 3 – Lake Margaret Drive (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments daily. Weekday and Saturday 9:15 p.m. trip from LYNX Central Station will end at Dixie Belle Drive/Gatlin Avenue.
Link 28 – East Colonial Drive/Azalea Park (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments on weekdays.
Link 29 – East Colonial Drive/Goldenrod Road (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments on weekdays. The 12:45 a.m. trip from Aloma Avenue/Forsyth Road will end at Goldenrod Road/Bates Road.
Link 38 – Universal Orlando/ I-Drive Express (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments on weekdays.
Link 701 – Orange Technical College Shuttle (Orange County) – Implement summer schedule June 2-July 17.
NeighborLink 831 – North Kissimmee/Buena Ventura Lakes (Osceola County) – Remove timepoint at Valencia College Osceola Campus.
SCHEDULE IMPROVEMENTS
Link 705 – West Colonial Drive/Winter Garden Circulator (Orange County) – Adding 5:05 a.m. weekday trip from West Oaks Mall. Minor schedule adjustments.
SCHEDULE REDUCTIONS
Link 8 – West Oak Ridge Road/International Drive (Orange County) – Discontinuing 6:15 p.m. weekday trip from LYNX Central Station to Vineland Premium Outlets. Minor weekday schedule adjustments.
Link 15 – Curry Ford Road/Valencia College East (Orange County) – Discontinuing 7:50 p.m. weekday trip from Valencia College to LYNX Central Station.
ROUTE CHANGES
Link 311 – Disney/Orlando International Airport/Destination Parkway Express (Orange County) – Extending route to Universal Epic Universe charter bus loop, with certain trips serving Universal Helios Grand Hotel. The 5 a.m. trip from Disney Springs Transfer Center to Orlando International Airport will be changed to begin at Destination Parkway SuperStop. Minor schedule adjustments daily.
BUS BAY CHANGES
Disney Springs Transfer Center
Link 300 to Disney University from Bay 7 to Bay 10.
Link 307 from Bay 5 to Bay 7.
Link 311 from Bay 4 to Bay 6.
Link 350 from Bay 6 to Bay 5.
