Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios finally reopened yesterday afternoon, Friday January 6, following a period of unannounced closures for the last several days.
The attraction has not been scheduled to be closed for maintenance, and Walt Disney World have remained quiet on why the attraction was shuttered.
Rumours swirled that the Lightning McQueen animatronics from the show had broken down, and considering the animatronic has had issues in the past, technical issues with McQueen is likely the cause of the closure.
