The hometown champions are being honored with a celebratory parade at Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World has announced that it's hosting a celebratory parade in honor of the Little League World Series Champions, Lake Mary Little League.

On Sunday, August 25, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Lake Mary Little League took home a 2-1 win over Chinese Taipei in extra innings, claiming the first-ever LLWS championship by a Florida team, and now the team are to celebrate with a parade right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom!

Lake Mary players and coaches will be featured in the celebratory parade at the Magic Kingdom on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

 Lake Mary Little League will be the Grand Marshals ahead of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. The celebration for the Lake Mary team is scheduled to step off at 1:30 pm.

Following the win on Sunday, the team were welcomed back to Central Florida on Monday with a water salute at Orlando International Airport. 

On Saturday, October 31, 2024, the City of Lake Mary is also hosting a parade, presentation, and block party.
