City parks provide space to connect with nature and the community, and the best of them offer a variety of activities and attractions for residents and visitors, and USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards 2025 is celebrating these verdant havens by looking for the best city parks across the United States.
An expert panel has nominated their top 20 picks, with the public determining the top 10.
Nominated parks include Ala Moana, a 119-acre public park in Honolulu, Centennial Park in Nashville, the world famous Central Park in New York City, and closer to home, Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland has also been nominated.
The big news for Downtown Orlando is that Lake Eola has been nominated for Best City Park by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards!
Downtown Orlando's Lake Eola Park centers around a lovely lake, where swan-shaped paddle boats drift past actual swans. The Walt Disney Amphitheater hosts concerts, movies, and plays, while the dog-friendly Sunday farmers market transforms the park into a bustling community gathering spot. The mile-long walking path offers postcard-worthy views of the Orlando skyline.

Vote once per day until polls close on Monday, April 7 at noon ET. The 10 winning parks, determined by your vote, will be announced on Wednesday, April 16.
