The 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup will make history as the first event of its kind in Kissimmee, Florida, from April 3-6, 2025.

With more than 600 participants from over 15 countries, the 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup is set to be a historic moment for Kissimmee, Island H2O and the global dodgeball community. While Kissimmee has hosted numerous world-class events, this is the first time it will welcome an event of this kind, further showcasing the city’s versatility as a premier destination for sporting events.

World Dodgeball (WD), the sport's official world governing body, was established in 2013. The first World Cup occurred in Manchester in 2016, the second at Madison Square Garden in New York in 2018, and the third at Cairo in 2022.

“We are incredibly excited to host the 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup in Kissimmee. Bringing a beach event to a city without a traditional beach shows how we think outside the box to deliver exceptional experiences,” said Tyler Weyant, Director of Sports Development at Experience Kissimmee. “Island H2O has been an amazing partner in transforming this vision into reality. I also want to commend Breanna Hicks, from Kissimmee Sports Commission, for her creative problem-solving in securing a venue that perfectly complements Kissimmee’s ability to innovate.”

“The partnership between Experience Kissimmee and World Dodgeball to bring the 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup to Kissimmee is history in the making,” said Tom Hickson, President of World Dodgeball. “We are delighted to be hosting the 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup at Island H20, bringing together the greatest athletes from across the World.”

The Island H2O Water Park, known for its family-friendly attractions, will be transformed into a beach dodgeball arena, offering a unique and exciting experience for both players and spectators. The event is expected to generate more than 1,000 room nights, contributing to the local economy and further establishing Kissimmee as a top destination for international events.

"Island H2O Water Park is honored to partner with Experience Kissimmee to be the location for the 2025 Beach Dodgeball World Cup. We're excited for both competitors and guests to be part of the competition, as well as enjoy our island vibes and thrilling slides,” said Todd Andrus, Sr. Director of Marketing, Island H2O Water Park. “As a top-rated water park in the US for four consecutive years, we're looking forward to sharing Island H2O Water Park with the world of Beach Dodgeball."
