Enjoy an unforgettable evening with musical icon Yolanda Adams at the Dr. Phillips Center on January 31, 2025 at the Walt Disney Theater.


Yolanda Adams, renowned for her dynamic vocal range and soul-stirring performances, will headline this special event in support of early childhood literacy initiatives by Need to Read.


Yolanda has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, making her one of the best-selling gospel artists ever. She is a four-time Grammy Award winner, four-time Dove Award winner, five-time BET Award winner, six-time Soul Train Music Award winner, and sixteen-time Stellar Award winner.


Also performing is comedian and speaker Mike Goodwin.


Mike, a U.S. Army veteran with a master’s degree in education, infuses his act with relatable humor drawn from his experiences in education. His comedy has been featured on America’s Got Talent, BET, Dry Bar Comedy, and SiriusXM. Mike focuses on leadership and laughter to inspire and uplift every audience.

Yolanda was the first gospel artist to receive a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Song and an American Music Award. In 2016, she received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Yolanda Adams was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame (2017) and the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame (2022).


She made history as the first gospel artist nominated for a Tony Award for her work on the musical "SpongeBob SquarePants."


Named Billboard's No. 1 gospel artist of the decade in 2009, Yolanda Adams performed "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LIV in 2019 to critical acclaim.


Celebrated for her ability to infuse gospel music with jazz, R&B, and pop elements, Yolanda Adams' voice is renowned for its emotional depth, power, and versatility, drawing comparisons to legends like Aretha Franklin.
