Attention history lovers! Did you know that every first Friday of the month from October - May, Downtown Orlando offer a free, guided tour of the Downtown Historic District?
You heard right, FREE! Tours feature the architectural and historical significance of some of downtown Orlando’s oldest and most iconic buildings.
As you walk through the city center, you’ll encounter established landmarks, including the Orlando Public Library, Lake Eola, and Church Street Station. Along the way, you’ll meet the cattle barons, citrus farmers, gunslingers and NASA engineers who helped put Orlando on the map way before Disney waltzed into town.
Tours begin at 9:30am at Discover Downtown - the Downtown Orlando Info Center, located at 201 S. Orange Avenue and last 1.5 hours.
