As part of the zoo's efforts to help save rhinos, they have a lineup of special events and activities planned for September 22 in Expedition Africa.
Throughout the day, enjoy engaging keeper chats, witness special rhino enrichment sessions, and explore educational stations designed to inform and inspire. Learn about these magnificent creatures and discover how we can all contribute to their conservation.
Also, enjoy an exciting hands-on activity where we’ll create “seed balls” to mimic the crucial role rhinoceros dung plays in nurturing plant growth and maintaining the health of the savannah.
Explore fascinating rhino biofacts on display and dive into our interactive habitat build and sensory bin, featuring clay and toy rhinos. This unique experience promises fun and learning for all ages, offering an unforgettable glimpse into the vital connections between wildlife and their ecosystems.
