Immerse Yourself In Airplay, Coming This October To Downtown Orlando

Explore immersive, inflatable art like you’ve never seen before at Airplay, coming October 8 through October 30, 2022 at Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts here in Downtown Orlando.

Engage in interactive, inflatable art installations, including a Luminarium from Architects of Air, at Airplay!

Brought together by Orlando's Creative City Project, guests of Airplay will experience art like never before, journey through the Luminarium, a giant, immersive and inflatable architectural walk-thru experience of color, light and shape.

Guests will also adventure through a giant, inflatable garden. Meet larger-than-life inflatable characters. Relax and connect in the shade of a unique, inflatable building and so much more. Surprises and play abound in this totally unique artistic adventure.

Luminarium was created by UK based company Architects of Air, the exhibition have travelled to over 40 counties across 5 continents, reaching over 3 million people to date.

When you enter the Luminarium you will experience art like never before, giant, immersive, and… inflatable.

The Luminarium is described as a sculpture you enter for an encounter with light.

This immersive art installation has been likened to a labyrinth. Walking through will awaken all of the senses, creating a sense of wonder and enchantment for all ages.

Many people find the luminarium calming – a place for rest or meditation. Others are simply hypnotised by this amazing world of light and subtle and saturated hues.

The beautiful colours are created by natural light travelling through the material of the Luminarium walls. You will hear an ambient soundtrack.

Each visitor has their own way of exploring the structure – some like to see every twist and turn, whilst others prefer to find a spot to rest and contemplate. We encourage you to explore in your own way!

“Following the huge success of Anthology, we are thrilled to announce our next innovative arts experience Airplay,” says Creative City Project Executive Director Heide Evans. “Each component of Airplay is designed to be interactive as we want our guests to have an immersive experience."

She continued "We are so happy to bring them back with a totally different installation that will undoubtedly create awe, adventure, imagination, inspiration, relaxation and delight.”

Tickets are $20 per person. Tickets to Airplay include one 30-minute timed entry to Architects of Air. Purchase at creativecityproject.com/airplay.
