IMMERSE returns to Downtown Orlando with Headline Performers, Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, and Michael James Scott

Central Florida’s signature arts event makes its highly anticipated return bringing 10 city blocks of unexpected creative encounters, live performances and immersive art installations over three unforgettable days.

IMMERSE returns to Downtown Orlando with Blue Man Group

Creative City Project has announced the signature performances that are part of the highly anticipated return of Central Florida’s signature performing and interactive art festival, IMMERSE, celebrating its 10th event in the heart of Downtown Orlando from February 21–23, 2025.


This three-day event runs from 5 Ppm to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, with daytime programming on Sunday. Presented by AdventHealth, this year’s IMMERSE will feature hundreds of artists across 10 city blocks.

 

Attendees will experience a vibrant festival filled with unexpected creative encounters, awe-inspiring live performances, and interactive installations that transform Downtown Orlando into a hub of creativity and wonder.

 


Headline Performers

Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney

Artists from Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney make their IMMERSE debut this February with their signature blend of high-flying acrobatics, mesmerizing visuals, and captivating music. A highlight of past IMMERSE festivals, Cirque du Soleil will once again bring their world-class artistry to the skies above Downtown Orlando with thrilling new acts. Aerial Pencil and Cerceau (Aerial Hoop) artists from Drawn to Life will soar above the city streets, suspended from a crane, enthralling audiences below. Lighting and Drawn to Life’s iconic music will complete these breathtaking performances, scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights at Seneff Arts Plaza at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

 

IMMERSE guests can see Drawn to Life five days a week year-round, live on stage at Disney Springs.

Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group returns to IMMERSE in 2025, bringing their signature energy and music to both the stage and the streets. Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday nights at the Massey Services Stage, located at Chase Plaza. Guests will also encounter the Blue Men throughout the festival, where they’ll bring their iconic blend of rhythm, humor, and interactivity to public spaces across the city.

 

This preview of Blue Man Group’s unique artistry will pave the way for its full-length resident show, set to return to Central Florida in April 2025. This global entertainment phenomenon is known for its award-winning theatrical productions, iconic characters and multiple creative explorations. Blue Man Group performances are euphoric celebrations of human connection through art, music, comedy and non-verbal communication. Since debuting at New York’s Astor Place Theatre in 1991, the live show has expanded to additional domestic residencies in Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas, an international residency in Berlin, and multiple North American and World tours, reaching more than 50 million people worldwide. Blue Man Group is universally appealing to a broad range of age groups and cultural backgrounds, and continually injected with new music, fresh stories, custom instruments and sensory stimulating graphics. It is owned and operated by Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group.

Michael James Scott

Orlando’s own Michael James Scott, Award Winning Broadway Star, Recording Artist, and best known for being the record-breaking Genie currently starring in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway is coming home! Known for his powerhouse vocals and electric stage presence, Michael will take center stage at IMMERSE alongside members of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and some of the most incredible local vocalists on Friday and Saturday nights. Get ready for a joyful, fireworks-laden musical journey filled with light, love, and laughter. Whether belting out iconic tunes or lighting up the stage with his infectious energy, Michael’s performance promises to be an unforgettable celebration of musical magic.

This exclusive performance offers a preview of Scott’s upcoming full-length concert, A Dream is a Wish, which will take place on May 17 at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with the Orlando Philharmonic.
