The 5th annual Hot Rods for Heroes Car, Truck & Bike Show returns on Saturday March 18, 2023 from 9 am to 2 pm in the northwest parking lot of The Oviedo Mall in Oviedo.
This is a fun-filled, family afternoon organized by the Honor Flight Central Florida with over 200 classic and modern show cars, trucks and motorcycles on display.
On the day you can learn more about Honor Flight Central Florida, and their future flight missions, but more importantly to celebrate and thank our Veterans, you can talk with, and thank WWII, Korea and Vietnam heroes.
A highlight of the show will be taking place high in the sky, as the McNeely father and son duo of The Honda Generators Race 90 Team fly their AT-6 Texan vintage racing airplanes over the show immediately following the national anthem.
There will also be vintage vehicles from the Military Vehicle Preservation Association.
Entertainment will come from the The City of Mount Dora Pipe Band, with music with DJ Sam Metro "Wheelin And A Rockin".
About HFCFL
Honor Flight Central Florida serves Veterans in our community by flying them to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials a grateful nation has built in their honor.
This is done at no charge to the veteran. Guardian donors accompany veterans on this one day trip at their own expense.
Their donation helps to cover some of the Honor Flight related expenses and also provides them the privilege of accompanying one of our hometown heroes for the day. Since 2005 the Honor Flight Network has flown over 250,000 Veterans from 46 states and 136 regional hubs.
Honor Flight Central Florida is a registered HUB of the national Honor Flight Network.
Honor Flight Central Florida have been operating since 2012 and have flown over 1000 central Florida hometown heroes.
They are a 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer organization serving Central Florida Veterans regardless of which county they live in and fly out of the Orlando International Airport.
