The ZORA Festival of the Arts is the longest running arts and humanities festival celebrating the cultural contributions people of African ancestry have made to the world.
The 2025 ZORA! Outdoor Festival of the Arts is a cultural, educational, and entertainment experience like no other. From January 31 to February 2, 2025, Eatonville will come alive with vibrant performances, interactive art, and a celebration of the cultural contributions people of African ancestry have made to the United States and to the world.
Through a powerful combination of music, education, and live performances, including an extraordinary Tribute to the Legends, the festival aims to inspire and connect people from all walks of life.
First presented in 1990, the annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities (ZORA! Festival) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-generational cultural event whose goals are to celebrate the significance of Zora Neale Hurston, 20th century American writer, folklorist, and anthropologist, the historic significance of Eatonville, and the cultural contributions that persons of African ancestry have made to the United States and to the world.
This award-winning event, “the longest running arts and humanities festival celebrating the cultural contributions people of African ancestry have made to the world,” is comprised of public talks, museum exhibitions, historical tours, stage performances, arts education programming, a humanities-based 2-day conference, and a 3-day Outdoor Festival of the Arts.
From January 31 to February 2, 2025, the Festival of the Arts will come alive along East Kennedy Boulevard in Eatonville, offering a powerful weekend of music, food, education, and live performances you don't want to miss.
This year you can download the ZORA! Festival App powered by Historify. Transform your festival experience with augmented reality (AR) walking tours, interactive maps, and AI-powered storytelling characters. Explore Eatonville's rich history as if you were part of the narrative!”
