Hear ye, hear ye! It’s Fairy Tale Weekend at Orlando Science Center

The Kingdom of KidsTown cordially invites you to join the Orlando Science Center as they celebrate Fairy Tale Weekend.

This weekend is Fairy Tale Weekend at Orlando Science Center!

Steer your horse-drawn carriage over to Orlando Science Center to celebrate an enchanting weekend of STEM learning inspired by your favorite fables. Cross the troll bridge if you dare and enjoy hands-on fun!

Fairy Tale Weekend at Orlando Science Center will take place Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fairy Tale Weekend was developed by KidsTown educators to provide a unique opportunity for the littlest of learners. Capitalizing on young guests and their love for fairy stories, the KidsTown team has integrated STEM learning with imaginative play.

Families can celebrate a weekend of imagination and creativity with special guests and activities, which are all included with general admission and free to Orlando Science Center members.

During this special event, on Saturday, Orlando Ballet will present a special dream-themed story time in the Digital Adventure Theater on Level 2. Guests will actively participate in creating the world of “The Sleeping Beauty” alongside dancers from Orlando Ballet. After the story, Orlando Ballet will delight audiences with a short performance.

All ages are welcome, but this experience is recommended for children ages 3 and up (1 p.m. on Saturday only).

Other highlights include

• Adventure your way through KidsTown to help feed a hangry dragon

• Put your engineering skills to the test and see if you can build a castle worthy of royalty!

• Dress to impress! Wear your favorite family-friendly fantasy costumes!

• Learn about stars and constellations during “Twinkle Tales” at Science on a Sphere on Level 4! This exploration into astronomy is recommended for ages 3 and up (11 a.m. on Sunday only)

Admission to Orlando Science Center is FREE for members, $24 for adults, $18 for youth (ages 2 – 11) and free for children under age 2.

Tickets include access to all four floors of exhibits, giant-screen and 3D educational films, and live programming.
