Adopt-a-Tree events seek to give Orange County residents an opportunity to expand their landscape by giving away, or adopting, trees.
The University of Florida IFAS Extension Orange County and Orange County are once again giving away trees to Orange County residents in September.
Trees in your landscape can provide a habitat for wildlife, create shade for homes and capture excess carbon in the air!
This September's Adopt-a-Tree event takes place on Sept. 14. at Magnolia Park, located at 2929 S Binion Road, Apopka. Details.
At these popular Adopt-a-Tree events, Orange County residents can pick up available tree species from 8 am to 12 pm. There is a limit of 2 per household. Residents are asked to bring proof of residency, in the form of a driver license, photo ID or utility bill.

Tabebuia (yellow)
Crepe Myrtle
