When Hurricane Ian began threatening to tear through Florida, Walt Disney World Resort began their well planned hurricane preparations.
One of the first decisions was to temporally close Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, along with Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Now, as clean up work has continued long after the storm has passed through the area, it seems that Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is complete, and the resort will reopen today, Friday, October 7, 2022..
A notice has been posted on the Walt Disney World website informing guests of the change.
