The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce (OWSRCC), in partnership with Oviedo Mall and the City of Oviedo, hosts Taste of Oviedo, presented by Oviedo Medical Center this weekend.
This beloved community tradition will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 am to 5 pm at Oviedo Mall, offering a day filled with delicious food, live entertainment, shopping, and family-friendly activities—all with free admission.
Now in its 31st year, Taste of Oviedo continues to showcase the best in local cuisine, music, and small business. This year’s theme, “A Season in Thyme,” invites participating restaurants and food trucks to create special dishes inspired by seasonal flavors. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of culinary offerings from local vendors and vote for their favorite in the Best of Taste competition.
Beyond the food, the event will feature a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages. Live music will set the tone throughout the day, with performances from local bands and artists. More than 150 vendors will be on-site, offering handcrafted goods, artisan products, and fresh finds in the Oviedo Roots Farmer’s Market area.
For families, the Kid’s Zone will provide a fun-filled experience with STEM and arts activities, free crafts, games, bounce houses, bungee jumps, and more. Those looking to sip and savor can enjoy a selection of beer, wine, and specialty drinks throughout the event space.
Cathy Perry, Chair of the OWSRCC Board of Directors, emphasized the event’s importance to the
community, stating, “Taste of Oviedo is more than just a food festival—it’s a celebration of our
community’s rich flavors, entrepreneurial spirit, and family-friendly atmosphere. Each year, this event grows bigger and better, and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of attendees for an unforgettable day of food, fun, and fellowship.”
Since its inception in the 1990s, Taste of Oviedo has grown from a small community gathering into one of Central Florida’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together thousands of residents and visitors.
