Ok, so we know Orlando is in the sunshine state, BUT it does rains here in Orlando, especially during the summer months, and when it rains, it pours, and we mean it POURS DOWN!! But relax, there is a ton of things to do when its raining!

We're not saying that it will rain on your visit to Orlando, but it might, and if you are visiting in the sizzling hot days of summer, then it will rain on your visit, and we mean heavy, torrential rain, but don't worry, usually it never lasts too long!


So what's to do when it rains? Loads actually, rain or shine, Orlando has a never ending choice of fun things to do, so much in fact you’ll hardly notice the rain at all!


Visit The Theme Parks

No we're not crazy, here in Orlando the rain usually never lasts too long, but the great thing is when it rains, the parks get less crowded, lots of folks make for the exits, so this is when you grab a poncho, and have fun!


Heck, even Magic Kingdom have a rainy day parade especially if it's raining!!

Obviously outlet shopping is very popular here in Orlando and we're lucky to have our fair share of outlets, including Orlando Premium Outlets which has two huge locations featuring over 360 stores all offering amazing savings including Orlando's only official Walt Disney World outlet stores, you can find Premium Outlets locates on International Drive and Vineland Avenue. Yes they are both outdoors, BUT both locations has lots of covered walkways to beat the rain.

Another popular outlet location is the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores featuring over 50 stores, with many brands you will not find anywhere else in Orlando, now this is a fully outdoor mall, but grabbing a bargain is worth getting a little wet!

Mall shopping continues to be ever popular here in Orlando, and of course being indoors, they are perfect to beat the rain! The Florida Mall a must visit, featuring over 270 retail stores, it's the areas largest shopping destination.
