Fried Chicken Chain Raising Cane's Opening It's First Florida Location In Orlando's Lake Nona

Back in January this year it was revealed that chicken-finger-focused fast-food chain Raising Cane’s was coming to Central Florida, with at least 12 stores in the Orlando area and at least 25 locations across the state of Florida.

Now the national fried chicken chain will soon be opening its first of those locations here in Orlando, with the store to be located at 11879 Narcoossee Rd, near Valencia College, Lake Nona Campus.

Founded by CEO Todd Graves in 1996, Raising Cane’s first opened in Baton Rogue, Louisiana with a menu focused almost exclusively on chicken fingers, fries and coleslaw along with its signature “Cane’s Sauce.”

Customers also have the option to order thick Texas toast, or have the chicken tenders between buns as a chicken tender sandwich.

No opening date has been announced but with permits filed with the state, it hopefully shouldn't be long before the new store takes shape.
