The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art continues its free summer family programs that explore the depth and breadth of the collection.
This year’s programs focus on beautiful gardens and travel advances during the reign of Queen Victoria (r.1837–1901).
The Museum’s summer offerings for families—designed for children in kindergarten through
fifth grade and their parents or guardians—include a gallery tour with a take-home art activity on
Tuesdays and a film, tour, and onsite art activity on Fridays.
Space in these free family programs is limited, and reservations are required
Details are as follows:
Tuesday Family Tours
Take a 40-minute gallery tour on four Tuesdays:
June 18, 25, and July 9, 16. Includes a take-home art activity. The tour
begins at 10 a.m.
Friday Family Films
Enjoy a short film, gallery tour, and onsite art
activity in this 90-minute program on four Fridays: June 21, 28, and July
12, 19. The program begins at 10 a.m.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A $5 refundable deposit per
person is required when securing a reservation for either program. Call (407) 645-5311,

Summer hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday. Regular admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $1 for students, and children
younger than 12 receive free admission and are always welcome with their parents or
guardians.
