The Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) will once again offer free admission on Thursday, September 19, in partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation

The Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) is getting ready to open the doors for it's next Access for All event in partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation, offering free admission to the museum from 10 am to 8 pm on Thursday, September 19.

Honoring a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for all, OMA seeks to break down barriers by providing all members of the community a chance to experience the transformative power of art for completely free.

“Our monthly Access for All events play a key role in our mission to make art universally accessible to any who wish to experience it,” said Cathryn Mattson, CEO of the Orlando Museum of Art. “The Art Bridges Foundation is a valued partner in this endeavor, and we are forever grateful for their continued support of bringing diverse, educational and engaging programming to the larger community.”

Guests are also encouraged to enjoy artwork from OMA’s latest exhibition, Golden Legacy, which showcases over 60 pieces of original art from 80 years of Little Golden Books. Some beloved classics include The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens,I Can Fly and many more. On display through December 1, 2024.

"Art can hold different meanings for everyone who views it,” said Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, Chief Curator of the Orlando Museum of Art. “By providing free admission, we can give more people that chance to engage with our exhibitions and discover the unique impact art will have in their lives."

In addition to free admission, Access for All events feature guided tours, live performances, educational experiences and more, providing visitors with many opportunities to experience art in a variety of ways. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the beauty and wonder of art in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
