The museum's latest exhibition showcases over sixty original illustrations from the Random House archives, featuring timeless classics like The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens, I Can Fly, and so many more! Launched in 1942—the first full year of America’s involvement in the Second World War—Little Golden Books made high quality illustrated books available at affordable prices for the first time to millions of young children and their parents.

If you go down to the woods this spooky season you're in for a horrific surprise... Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City is spread across 20 acres in a remote corner of Pasco County.


The scariest of horror parks, Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park offers five haunted houses, a zombie paintball fight, plus monsters who can and will grab you!

Central Florida has long been one of the world’s premier vacation destinations, featuring a wide range of accommodations for the travel-weary to rest their heads. From Orlando’s beloved San Juan and Angebilt hotels to lesser-known lodgings throughout the region, Home Away from Home: Historic Hotels of Central Floridafeatures the fascinating ephemera from hotels that have supported the tourism juggernaut we know today. This pocket exhibit also highlights the three original Walt Disney World resorts, credited with changing Florida tourism forever with the opening of Magic Kingdom in 1971.

Celebrating its 19th season, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining returns from Aug. 16 through Sept. 30 with a record 150 restaurants, including 25 new restaurants and nine recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. Restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe menus for either $40 or $60, continuing the tiered menu system introduced in 2023 throughout the six-week run.

This contemporary adaptation of Pinocchio is set in Hip-Hopia where G.Petto is a video game designer, and one of his character designs, P.Nokio, magically comes to life. With the help of the Graffiti Fairy, he teaches P.Nokio how to become a real boy. Armed with the Book of Rhymes, G.Petto sends P.Nokio to The Old School to master style, originality, and swagger. However, we know from the original story that P.Nokio is led astray, but he has to wise up, keep it real, and learn that words and truth are the mightiest tools of all. This story centers around family, creativity, individuality, and growing up in a confounding world.

Prepare to be swept off your feet with "All That Jazz"! As the CFCArts Big Band and Community Choir unite, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of swinging rhythms and unforgettable melodies. Feel the energy as the Big Band's dynamic beats and thrilling brass sounds pair perfectly with the choir's exuberant vocals. You'll recognize every tune, from the toe-tapping magic of "Sing, Sing, Sing" to the lively beats of "In the Mood". It's a joyous celebration of jazz classics that promises to leave you humming long after the night ends.

The Daytona Boat Show takes place Sept. 6-8, 2024 at the Ocean Center and. features various boats, including bowriders, center consoles, deck boats, flats boats, freshwater fishing boats, jet boats, pontoon boats, and surf boats to fit any lifestyle and occasion.


The show includes 12 of Central Florida's top boat dealers representing over 70 manufacturers with more than 300 boats on display.

Red Bull Double or Nothing brings the best wakeboarders in the world to Orlando in a winner-take-all, best trick competition, encouraging each athlete to go big and push the sport to levels never seen before. Coming off the heels of world's first triple flip, Red Bull Double or Nothing returns to push the limits of wakeboarding. Wakeboard legend Parks Bonifay is the mastermind behind Red Bull Double or Nothing, which he started in 2004.


This year the event will once again be held in downtown Orlando at Lake Ivanhoe, and open to spectators to watch from Gaston Edwards Park, completely free of charge. Spend the day with us on the Lake watching the best of the best!
