This year, pioneering media company Watermark commemorates three decades of dedicated service, championing the interests of the LGBTQ+ community throughout Florida. Cover Story: Celebrating Watermark’s 30 Years showcases some of the most memorable moments and important stories of those years.


The exhibition features a retrospective of 30 of the publication’s most impactful covers, which illustrate the profound journey of LGBTQ+ history over the past three decades.

Step into a world of childhood nostalgia at Orlando Museum of Art with Golden Legacy: Original Art from 80 Years of Golden Books


The museum's latest exhibition showcases over sixty original illustrations from the Random House archives, featuring timeless classics like The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens, I Can Fly, and so many more! Launched in 1942—the first full year of America’s involvement in the Second World War—Little Golden Books made high quality illustrated books available at affordable prices for the first time to millions of young children and their parents.


July 13 - October 13

Special Exhibition at Orange County Regional History Center. Included with paid admission. Central Florida has long been one of the world’s premier vacation destinations, featuring a wide range of accommodations for the travel-weary to rest their heads. From Orlando’s beloved San Juan and Angebilt hotels to lesser-known lodgings throughout the region, Home Away from Home: Historic Hotels of Central Floridafeatures the fascinating ephemera from hotels that have supported the tourism juggernaut we know today. This pocket exhibit also highlights the three original Walt Disney World resorts, credited with changing Florida tourism forever with the opening of Magic Kingdom in 1971.

Celebrating its 19th season, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining returns from Aug. 16 through Sept. 30 with a record 150 restaurants, including 25 new restaurants and nine recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. Restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe menus for either $40 or $60, continuing the tiered menu system introduced in 2023 throughout the six-week run.

The St. Luke's Concert Series is excited to kick off the 2024-2025 season with the Brass Band of Central Florida and their "When Worlds Collide" concert. Join us on September 13, 7PM and September 14, 2PM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. All concerts are free and seating is open.

Moon Festival is a traditional festival celebrated in many Far East and Southeast Asian American communities. This tradition is celebrated in various forms throughout China (Mid-Autumn Festival), Japan (Tsukimi), Korea (Chuseok), and Vietnam (Tết Trung Thu). The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the lunar calendar, when the full moon is brightest and fullest. It is a festival of gathering, thanksgiving, and prayer during the mid-Autumn harvest season.


Asia Trend proudly presents the second annual Moon Over Avalon in partnership with Avalon Park Orlando and various non-profit organizations to bring joy, friendship and harmony in the Avalon Park area. This 5-hour evening event includes children’s arts & craft activities, DIY festival lanterns, food trucks, night market, and live performances.

The Saturday Classic Car Show begins at 1:00pm and welcomes show-quality 1985 and older hot rods, street rods, and antiques. Cars will cruise at 8:30pm. The event is free for participants and free for the public to attend.
