Get ready for an electrifying time celebrating Sam Rivers’ legacy. For 25 years, Doug Mathews laid down the groove as bassist for the incomparable Sam Rivers. As a member of the RivBea Orchestra, Sam’s illustrious big band, Doug honed his craft alongside jazz legends. In celebration of what would have been Sam’s 100th birthday, Doug has brought together a dynamic ensemble of original members and eager young talents.
