Out of Order | Let Down is a two-person exhibition by Kristen Letts Kovak and Grace Mikell Ramsey at UCF Art Gallery. This exhibition explores complex visual language of abstraction, naturalism and fantasy to engage in dialogue on the nuances of female perseverance. Through visual storytelling, the two artists reflect and represent ongoing issues of female bodies, gender roles, societal expectations and biases. The intuitive and formal experimentations engage visceral emotions and encourage active consideration and questioning of expectations and consequences for women through our lived experiences


New Smyrna Beach IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts

Gasparilla Pirate Fest

Invasions are welcome in Tampa Bay! Gasparilla Pirate Fest returns every January, bringing the spirit of pirates past and glittering treasures for visitors and locals to plunder. The 4.5-mile parade route, led by the captain and his Ye Mystic Krewe, is followed by over a hundred floats winding through historic Bayshore Blvd and downtown Tampa, creating the third-largest paradein the United States.

The Orange County Regional History Center continues its annual tradition of celebrating our county’s official beginnings with live performances and fun activities for the whole family. This year, as we celebrate our 180th birthday as Orange County, we will honor the diverse and vibrant cultural landscape that makes up our community today.

This event is a fundraiser for the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club. This is the largest car show in Central Florida with over 300 of the best classic and modern vehicles. In addition to the car show, there is a huge turnout from law enforcement and fire departments from around the state with specialty vehicles, helicopters, and K9 units. Plenty of family fun including bounce houses, a huge array of vendors, food trucks, trophies. Car show music provided by DJ Don from Cruisin Orlando. Spectators are free
