The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is hosting a special Earth Day weekend-long event as part of Audubon Florida's Birdathon! Love escape rooms? St. Johns River Cleanup

The 2024 St. Johns River Cleanup will take place 8 am - 11 am. This will be a perfect day to show the river some love by helping to remove trash from the waterway and the surrounding land to prevent it from washing into the water.
There will be a free giveaway of a zippered tote for those volunteers older than eight years of age, and a stuffed otter for the younger participants.
The annual cleanup, coordinated by Volusia County’s Environmental Management Division, draws attention to the river’s environmental importance and helps to keep the waterway safe and clean for animals and people who enjoy swimming and water sports.
