In honor of Orlando’s 150th anniversary, the Orange County Regional History Center offers a glimpse into some of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from the city’s history with our newest special exhibition, Orlando Collected.

INK! is a rotating exhibition of the Contemporary American Graphics Collection featuring limited edition lithographs, etchings, etc at Orlando Museum of Art.


Origami In The Garden at Leu Gardens, Orlando

February 1 - September 3

Leu Gardens invite you to experience an extraordinary exhibit like no other, connecting the world of nature and art. Origami is the Japanese word for  “folding paper,” making something out of nothing, taking a square piece of paper and folding it to create a beautiful object. ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN takes the folded object and transforms it into colossal metal sculpture that evokes wonder and imagination. Over 20 pieces from the original folds to art pieces will sure to captivate all ages. Included with garden admission.

The City of Orlando proudly presents Mary Ann Carroll: Queen of the Highway, a retrospective exhibition celebrating the art and life of Mary Ann Carroll (b. 1940-d. 2019), the only female artist in Florida's renowned Highwaymen group of artists. The Highwaymen were a group of 26 African American artists working in Florida during the mid-20th century who created and sold vibrant landscape paintings, often door-to-door, overcoming racial and economic barriers to achieve recognition.


January 31 - May 25

This exhibition at the Mennello Museum examines the rich and vibrant legacy of Central Florida’s arts and higher education through contemplating the work of three foundational figures – artists who have had a profound impact on the Central Florida art scene and have inspired generations of students. Through their extraordinary practices and decades of teaching, Mernet Larsen, Steve Lotz, and Bruce Marsh depict natural worlds both organically and geometrically, which implore viewers to analyze how they view the world through lenses of abstraction, symbolism, and perception.


Relationships: A Love For Collecting. Orlando Museum of Art

Dr. James Cottrell, an esteemed anesthesiologist and professor, and Joseph Lovett, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, have been collecting art for over forty years. Today, their collection numbers more than 500 works encompassing a wide array of paintings, prints, photography, and sculpture that comprise a broad of spectrum of styles, including abstraction, representation and conceptual art. Edouard Prulhiere: The Inverted Sound Of Painting. Orlando Museum of Art

January 25 - May 15

On the occasion of the recent gift of 314 artworks from Dr Cottrell and Mr. Lovett’s Collection, Orlando Museum of Art will be presenting a small-scale exhibition of works by Edouard Prulhière. This exhibition will be concurrent to a major exhibition in January featuring the majority of gifts received from the Cottrell-Lovett Collection.

Juan David Tena: Portraits of FusionFest

Portraits of FusionFest is a series of 22 photographs depicting portraits of Central Florida residents, captured by photographer Juan David Tena during FusionFest and attests to the diversity of the local population. See this exhibition at Orlando Museum of Art.

The Renaissance Theatre Company is serving up the outrageous, side-splitting musical Gorgeous, at The Ren in Orlando. This irreverent spectacle takes very loose inspiration from the cult classic Drop Dead Gorgeous. Brace yourself for the Miss Golden Boot Beauty Pageant in beautiful St. Crowd, FL, which is probably not inspired by a real place nearby. Eight contestants vie for the crown, where the competition is fierce, the dance  numbers are questionable, and the personalities are larger than life.


April 12 - May 3, Every Saturday

A 30-minute celebration of dinosaurs, music, and movement. Get ready to party, because everyone knows dinosaurs love to dance! Theatre for the Very Young at Orlando Family Stage is created specifically for 1 to 5-year-olds and is an interactive, multi-sensory, developmentally accessible experience encouraging caregiver interaction and creative play.


February 1 - April 30

Spring Bloom is the most colorful time of the year as thousands of azaleas, camellias, and annuals signal a new season. The festival celebrates the majesty of Mother Nature from now through April 30. Visitors will experience four months of blooms with a riot of camellias and finishing with a grand finale of azaleas. Each day, enjoy live carillon concerts at 1 pm and 3 pm.

Earth Day takes place on April 22, but Orange County Library System is offering fun throughout the whole month! Kids and adults can celebrate our planet by learning about sustainability efforts as well as ways to engage others in the environmental movement.


February 1 - April 27

From Pinewood to Pillars traces the evolution of Orange County’s courthouses, from the rustic, log-hewn buildings of Orlando’s pioneer days to the towering, state-of-the-art structure ushering in the new millennium. This pocket exhibit features rarely seen artifacts from the collections of the Orange County Regional History Center, showcasing the halls of justice that shaped not only Orlando’s skyline but also its history.


March 26 - April 27

Orlando Shakes presents Stuart Little. The endearing classic about a mouse named Stuart born into an ordinary New York family comes alive onstage. Stuart is a little guy with a big heart, not to mention whiskers, a little pink nose and a really dapper wardrobe. When he’s adopted by the Littles, he embarks on adventures with a variety of characters — including his nemesis, family cat Snowbell, and along the way learns the true meaning of family, loyalty and friendship.


March 7 - April 25, Every Friday

Admission for all visitors is free from 4 pm - 8 pm every Friday through April 25. Various musicians and musical groups enhance the Museum experience, from 5 pm - 8 pm.

Each year twenty-four professionally-acclaimed plein air artists will paint at the Polasek Museum and at other locations throughout Winter Park and Orlando. Art lovers are invited to watch the artists at work and attend free painting demonstrations.  Artwork created during the Winter Park Paint Out will be on display as soon as they are completed and dropped off at the museum’s wet room. These wonderful paintings will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Museum.

The electrifying action of Major League Pickleball (MLP) is coming to Orlando for the 2025 regular season opener, April 24-27! Following the thrilling 2024 Vulcan MLP Playoffs Orlando that saw the league’s champions crowned in November, MLP is returning to start the 2025 season with the world’s top professional coed pickleball teams in action for four days of fast-paced competition at the USTA National Campus.
