Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire in Tavares, is a renowned medieval festival, offering visitors a chance to encounter the sights, sounds, and flavors of an Englisg village in the sixteenth century.
Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire is a re-enactment of a 16th century English festival.
Tis the Year of our Lord, 1606 and King James I is on the throne. King James is the son of Mary, Queen of Scots, great-great-grandson to Henry VII, and cousin to Queen Elizabeth I. Already the King of the Scots, King James becomes the monarch of England and Ireland following Queen Elizabeth’s death in 1603.
Join the Faire from Friday, November 1 - Sunday, November 3, and again from Saturday, November 8 - Sunday, November 9 in the woodsy festival grounds at 28598 Lady Of The Lakes Ave., Tavares, for fantasy, fun and food in the forest. Enjoy nine stages of non-stop period comedians, Celtic music, combat jousting, oh and don't forget the mermaids and faeries!
More than 50 Artisans will fill our Shire working in many different mediums. Come and walk amidst them practicing their talents and crafts in sculptures, swords, candle making, jewelry, pottery, leather work, and garb such as corsets, head covers, and kilts just to name a few!
Visitors can expect tens of thousands of history buffs and partygoers from all over Central Florida to head to the Enchanted Forest in Tavares for the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire!
The annual event features more than 100 performers donning authentic 16th century costumes to interact with and entertain fairgoers. Enjoy the food, drinks, and shopping to your heart's desire!
The Education Foundation's fun and fantasy Renaissance Faire in the forest serves a purpose every year. Every dollar raised from this event goes to the teachers and students in Lake County Public Schools.
The event is an important part of the community and has over a 4 million dollar economic impact. It is this event that creates futures for many less fortunate.
