Every February, thousands of undie runners in cities across the U.S. come together, whether it be in-person or virtually, to support those affected by NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.

Cupid’s Undie Run kicks off with drinking and dancing, then we jog it out with a mile(ish) run and end it all with an epic dance party!

Here in Orlando, hundred's of people will gather at Elixir Kitchen and Bar, 9 W Washington St Orlando on Saturday, February 22 to take part in a BRIEF and uplifting run in their undies for this year's Cupid's Undie Run.

The main purpose of Cupid's Undue Run is to raise awareness of neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.

As well as raising awareness and money for the Children's Tumor Foundation, Cupid’s Undie Run is a lot of fun too, the day kicks off with drinking and a lot of dancing, before participants run, jog, or walk around a mile, before crossing the finish line for an epic dance party!

If you want to enjoy a fun day in your undies in downtown, it costs you $40 to register, and then you can get your family and friends to donate to the cause!

Oh and just in case you were wondering why runners run in their undies, organisers say "it's because those affected by NF can’t cover up their tumors. They can’t put on clothes to feel more comfortable, so why should we?"

Since 2010, organizers have brought together over 108,600 undie runners to raise over $21,700,000 since the inception of Cupid’s Undie Run, with 100% of net proceeds funding NF research, through a partnership with the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
