Due To Worsening Weather Conditions Universal Orlando Decide To Close Volcano Bay

Earlier today as Tropical Storm Nicole continued on a path towards Central Florida, Universal Orlando Resort announced that its business as usual at its theme parks, resorts and CityWalk.


But due to deteriorating weather conditions Universal now say that Volcano Bay Water Theme Park will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday November 9.


Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and CityWalk operations and hours are continuing as normal, but Universal say that they are continuing to closely monitor the weather.


Hotels will also remain operational as they focus on taking care of guests and team members.


Due To Worsening Weather Universal Orlando Decide To Close Volcano Bay Due To Storm Nicole

Tropical Storm Nicole is forecast to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane Wednesday on its path toward Florida.


The latest track from the National Hurricane Center shows Nicole strengthening into a hurricane before making landfall on the southeast coast of Florida, impacting our immediate east coast in Brevard and Volusia counties and in the Orlando region.


As of Tuesday, Nicole's maximum sustained winds are at 65 mph.
