Disney announce Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will reopen on March 19

Hang loose!


Contrary to cast member rumours that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was returning on March 12, Walt Disney World have announced the date park will return on March 19.


The tropical-themed park will reopen with new food offerings, and the return of the extra special H20 Glow After Hours events.



Cool off with new sweets and treats that are perfect for a day at the water park, including the Pineapple Upside Down Cone available at Happy Landings and a Barbeque Chicken and Grilled Pineapple Flatbread available at Leaning Palms.


Also, the exclusive Typhoon Tilly Sipper will be available for a limited time as an all-day, refillable fountain beverage offering.


Adults can indulge in the Kungaloosh Kooler, a Strawberry DOLE Whip swirled with a mixture of rum, orange juice and blackberry brandy floated with Strawberry Fanta.


Remember that delicious Moana Cone from World Princess Week? The dessert featuring DOLE Whip Strawberry swirled with vanilla is back for guests to enjoy, as well as the popular Hei Hei Cone made of DOLE Whip Pineapple and Raspberry available at Snack Shack.



Adding to this oasis of fun, the popular specially-ticketed event, H2O Glow After Hours, will also return this May and will be the high-”light” of your summer!


Don’t miss out: Tickets for the event go on sale starting tomorrow, so you’ll want to be sure to “glow” and purchase your ticket!


H2O Glow After Hours Typhoon Lagoon

Grab your neon swimwear and get ready for some glowing tropical fun! H2O Glow After Hours will be back and ready to “light” up your summer at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.


With its vibrant decor, a specially themed menu of snacks and treats throughout the park and your favorite watery attractions under the stars, the popular after-hours party is a “must-do” with friends and family this summer.


Don’t miss out on what could be the high-“light” of your summer, as you move and groove to hot beats during a DJ dance party!



This fan-favorite experience is scheduled to kick off May 20 at Typhoon Lagoon.


Event tickets for EPCOT, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon can be purchased by all guests starting March 3, 2023, with prices ranging from $75 to $149 (plus tax).


Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing Disney After Hours tickets for EPCOT and Typhoon Lagoon as early as February 28.


The advance-purchase window is available to guests at Disney Resort hotels and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, as well as Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort.


Disney Vacation Club members and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can also purchase specially priced tickets for select dates.

The popular nighttime experience has limited capacity, so be sure to secure your tickets soon!


The after-hours party will offer unique, vibrant décor, high-energy DJ dance parties, exclusive glow-themed menu offerings and so much more. Imagine your favorite watery attractions glowing under the stars, with shorter wait times and more time to enjoy.


Whether you’re shooting down Crush N’ Gusher, making a splash in the Surf Pool, or showing off those groovy moves on the dance floor, you’ll experience this storm-strewn paradise in a whole new light. You’ll even receive a glowing wristband and tasty snacks like popcorn and select ice-cream treats to enjoy throughout the evening!
