Exciting news from Orlando International Airport for locals wanting to visit Amsterdam and for visitors from Holland wanting a quick and easy route to Orlando.
Last week Delta Air Lines resumed daily non stop service to Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, which is one of Europe's busiest airport.
The Amsterdam route is returning for the first time since March 2020, back then Delta serviced the route four times per week, and in a sign of high confidence in the route, Delta will now over flights seven days per week on Delta's Airbus A330-300s, seating 282 passengers.
Amsterdam has long been linked with Orlando for many years with KLM servicing the route until October 1994 with the DC-10 and later the B747-400.
Fellow Dutch carrier Martinair re-aunched the connection in January 1998 with the B767-300ER, and this continued until January 2011.
With this new daily connection to Amsterdam, Central Florida residents now take the opportunity to visit Amsterdam and explore the city by bike, tour the twisting canals, or enjoy a stroll through tulip-filled gardens.
