Exciting things are happening at Lake Eola Park! The Grandmother's Legacy of Love Butterfly Sculpture Garden is officially underway, bringing more green space to the heart of downtown Orlando!
This project, in collaboration with the Orlando Land Trust and the Orlando Community Redevelopment Agency, aligns with the DTO Action Plan by enhancing public spaces and making downtown Orlando an even more inviting destination for residents and visitors alike.
Thanks to the generosity of local grandmothers, this new sculpture garden will honor over 400 grandchildren while expanding Lake Eola Park! The butterfly sculpture garden is expected to be completed later this year in fall 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue investing in downtown Orlando's future!
This special garden, donated by the Orlando Land Trust and made possible by the heartfelt efforts of local grandmothers, will honor over 400 grandchildren whose families contributed to this initiative.
