There’s always something exciting happening at Universal Orlando Resort, with seasonal events and experiences that offer even more fun throughout the destination all year long.
Guests can now start planning their 2025 vacation to enjoy all the thrills to be had – no matter the time of year, from fan-favorite seasonal events like Universal Mardi Gras, Universal Halloween Horror Nights and Holidays at Universal, to the brand-new nighttime exclusive Volcano Bay Nights to the much-anticipated grand opening of Universal Epic Universe, there’s something for everybody at Universal this year.
Below we have listed all the 2025 events and happenings coming to Universal Orlando Resort throughout the year.
UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT 2025 EXPERIENCES AND SEASONAL EVENTS
Rock the Universe | January 24–25 at Universal Studios Florida
Rock the Universe is Florida’s biggest Christian music festival. At this separately ticketed event, fans can gather to enjoy live music, worship experiences, and thrilling rides at this event that Christian music fans have looked forward to for over 25 years.
It’s a Mardi party — and you don’t want to miss it! Plus, it’s included with your admission to Universal Studios Florida!
Start off by eating and drinking everything in sight, from classics like freshly baked beignets doused in powdered sugar to international dishes that change every year. Catch beads at the famed Mardi Gras Parade, which is just pure spectacle. And then finish the night grooving along to concerts on select nights with your friends.
Butterbeer Season | March 1–May 31
Butterbeer Season is the perfect time to gather and toast to everyone’s favorite wizarding beverage, whether you’re trying it for your first or 100th time! This event, which features seasonal-exclusive Butterbeer treats and specialty merchandise, is included with your admission and takes place in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.
Hot, cold, or frozen, grab a mug and share a laugh over your frothy Butterbeer mustache. (There’s even a vegan variety!)
Grad Bash | April 4, 5, 11, & 25
High school seniors will have a blast with their friends at this grad celebration with exclusive, private access to both Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. Plus, they’ll enjoy thrilling rides and attractions, street entertainment, and more.

NEW Universal Volcano Bay Nights | April 19, 26, May 3, 10, & 17
New for 2025, an exclusive, nighttime event is happening at Volcano Bay. On select nights in April and May, guests can immerse themselves into the Waturi culture during the all-new Universal Volcano Bay Nights (additional details will be revealed soon).

Gradventure | May 2, 9, 16, & 17
Middle school grads can celebrate with their friends as they enjoy complete, private access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure all night long at this separately ticketed event.
NEW Grand Opening of Universal Epic Universe | May 22
This year, Universal Orlando Resort debuts a brand new theme park, Universal Epic Universe, opening May 22, 2025. Tickets are already on sale here.

Epic Universe will also feature three new hotels, all located close to Epic Universe.
Fourth of July | July 4
Sport your red, white, and blue and grab your sunscreen so you can spend the whole day celebrating independence with special activities sprinkled throughout Universal Orlando Resort — all included with your admission.
Passholder Appreciation Days | August 15–September 30
Passholder Appreciation Days are an annual celebration of the UOAP family — exclusive to Passholders! — with over six weeks of offers, special events, and more. It’s Universal Orlando's way of returning the love to our favorite people.
Halloween Horror Nights | Select Nights August 29–November 2
Halloween Horror Nights returns earlier than ever before on select nights, beginning August 29 through November 2, where guests can face terrifying haunted houses inspired by cinematic greats and eerie original stories, sinister scare zones, live entertainment, exclusive merchandise and themed food and beverage items at the world’s premier Halloween event.

Holidays at Universal Orlando | November 21–December 31
The Holidays at Universal deliver merry, bright, naughty, and nice, all wrapped with a beautiful Universal bow on top. It’s Holidays the way only Universal can do it.
See the Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter practically sparkle with the merriment of the season, see larger-than-life balloons soaring in Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, and laugh along with the antics of the Grinch (or sing “Fah Who Doraze” with the Whos) during The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.
This event takes place in Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, and it’s included in your theme park admission! Get in the holiday spirit here.
Universal Orlando Resort Hotel Events | Year-Round

Embracethe ‘aloha’ spirit at the Wantilan Luau at Loews Royal Pacific Resort,a festive, family-friendly luau and dinner show. Shows begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday evenings (subject to change). To purchase tickets, click here.
Enjoy a live acoustic performance while they feast on a delicious brunch full of comfort food with a tinge of Southern twang during the Acoustic Brunch at The Kitchen in the Hard Rock Hotel. Brunch takes place every Sunday. To make a reservation, click here.
Be transported to the Mediterranean at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel’s Harbor Nights, featuring unlimited gourmet food and wines from the hotel’s restaurants, live music and a traditional opera performance. Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will also offer special dining for guests on Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Eve
Universal CityWalk Events | Year-Round
The fun doesn’t stop at the theme parks, with a variety of events at Universal CityWalk throughout the year – from the Mardi Gras After Party to a St. Patrick’s Day celebrationat Pat O’Brien’s and Summer Live Music, to the Red Coconut’s transformation to the Cursed Coconut Club during Mardi Gras, Dead Coconut Club for Halloween Horror Nights and Green and Red Coconut Club for the Holidays.
Guests can also stop-by one of the many incredible restaurants or retail shops to dine with their family and friends or purchase exclusive merchandise that can only be found at Universal Orlando.
